Privacy Policy
This policy explains what TimeWalkies collects, why, and what control you have over it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to make postcards of your dog and deliver them to you, we don’t sell your data, and you can leave — with your data deleted — whenever you want.
What we collect
Photos of your dog that you upload, and the AI-generated postcards made from them. Account details: your email address, your dog’s name, your timezone and preferred delivery time. Billing status: your subscription state from our payment provider — never your card details. Service records: which postcards were generated and emailed to you, and basic logs needed to keep the Service reliable.
How your photos are used
Uploaded photos are stored privately and used only to make your dog’s postcards. When you upload a photo, an automated system first checks that it will paint well — for example, that your dog is easy to see. We keep a record of that check’s outcome (an issue category and timing, never a description of you or your photo) so we can improve the guidance we give at upload time. To create the artwork, your photo is sent to our AI image providers (OpenAI, and Google when a fallback is needed) with an instruction describing the historical scene; the quality check is run by the same kind of provider. We don’t use your photos to train models, for advertising, or for anything unrelated to your postcards.
Who processes your data
We rely on a small set of processors to run the Service: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), and OpenAI/Google (image generation). Each receives only what it needs for its role.
We send transactional email (sign-in links, your daily postcard, billing notices) and occasional product email. Every non-essential email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects sign-in links or postcards you’ve paid for.
Retention
Generated postcards are kept indefinitely. Anonymous sessions that never claim an email are deleted automatically.
Your rights
You can access everything we hold about you from your dashboard and settings. You can correct your details in Settings, unsubscribe from marketing at any time, and request full deletion of your account — including photos, postcards, and email history — by writing to hello@timewalkies.com. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days. Depending on where you live, these rights may be backed by laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we apply the same standard to everyone.
Cookies
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to keep your anonymous gallery attached to your browser before you claim it. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we’ll email you before the change takes effect. Questions: hello@timewalkies.com.
Language
This policy may be offered in several languages for convenience. The English version governs: if a translation and the English text ever disagree, the English text controls.
