Terms of Service

TimeWalkies creates daily, AI-illustrated historical postcards featuring your dog. By using timewalkies.com (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Your account

You can try the Service before creating an account. To save your gallery and receive postcards by email, you claim your account with an email address and sign in with magic links — there are no passwords. You’re responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

2. Your photos and content

You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them solely to operate the Service — generating postcard artwork of your dog, showing your gallery back to you, and rendering any postcards you choose to share. Only upload photos you have the right to use, and keep your dog the clear subject of every photo. People in the background of an ordinary snapshot are fine; photos where a person is the main subject aren’t suitable for the Service.

Generated postcards are yours to enjoy, download, and share. A postcard you share via a public share link is visible to anyone who has that link.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Your first two postcards are free. Continuing daily delivery requires a subscription: $14.99/month or $99/year. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details never touch our servers. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and you can cancel anytime from the billing portal in Settings. If you cancel within the first 7 days of a subscription, we refund that subscription’s first payment in full — no questions asked — and access ends right away. If you cancel later, there’s no refund for the current period, but you keep access through the end of the period you’ve paid for. If a renewal payment fails, we keep delivering during a short grace period and email you so you can update your payment method.

4. AI-generated artwork

Postcards are generated by AI image models. Results vary: artwork is stylized, historical depictions are playful rather than accurate, and occasionally a generation fails or is declined by a provider’s content policy. When that happens you can retry from your dashboard, and failed postcards never count against you.

5. Data retention

Generated postcards are kept in your gallery indefinitely. Unclaimed anonymous sessions are cleaned up automatically.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the Service: no attempts to circumvent rate limits or free-tier limits, no uploading unlawful content, no reselling generated output as a service, and no interfering with other users’ galleries.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the Service evolves; material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. You can stop using the Service and request deletion of your account and data at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
